Habitat for Humanity builds affordable homes and provides home ownership for qualified families who live in Monterey and Santa Cruz counties. Santa Cruz and Monterey counties Habitat joined forces to become Habitat Monterey Bay. Habitat and the city of Santa Cruz have partnered on many projects, including building ADU units on seniors' properties so that they can supplement their income, stay in their neighborhoods where they are familiar with their surroundings, and have support from neighbors and friends.  CLC has provided lunches for the work crew and participated in the Women’s Build Week.
